This website was developed by the Bicycle Program to inform Chicagoans of their rights and responsibilities as cyclists in the city. We hope that you find it easy to use and find information.

On here you will find Chicago and Illinois laws about bicycling. It is divided into three different sections: Helpful Documents and Publications, Municipal Codes of Chicago and Illinois Compiled Statutes.
