The Bike Parking program, part of the City of Chicago's Department of Transportation Bicycle Program, is run by a crack team of two geniuses, learned in the ways of efficient bike parking management and implementation.

First up is Christopher Gagnon, Bike Parking Program Manager. His sidekick is none other than Steven Vance, Bike Parking Program Intern, and IT extraordinaire.

We ride all over the city ensuring the thousands of Chicago cyclists have a secure, convenient place to lock their bikes. When we're not installing bike racks, we're getting rid of those pesky, ugly, abandoned bikes.

If you would like to contact us, you can do so via telephone or email.

Abandoned Bikes

The CDOT Bicycle Program Bike Parking staff are also in charge of removing the city's abandoned bicycles. Find more information about this program.

Donating Bikes

The City of Chicago does not accept used or donated bicycles. However, we maintain a list of those organizations and local bike shops that will accept your used and donated bicycles.

Help with Google Maps

Google provides a Help Center for learning how to use and navigate maps provided by Google and within the Google Maps interface. We have made every effort to have the maps work in every browser.
