A Bike Winter tradition! Ride 95 miles to Milwaukee and stay overnight with our Badger hosts. Ride home in the morning. This year will (probably) feature the debut of Greenfield's Map to Milwaukee, a detailed route guide showing on- and off-road options, sights and services along the way. Meeting location TBA. Finally a bike extravaganza for the winter months with an urban, transportational focus, presented by Chicago cyclists for Chicago cyclists.

Join bikewinter.org, UIC College of Cycling, Active Transportation Alliance, and Big Shoulders Realty as we present the first annual Bike Winter Swap Meet and Urban Bicycle Expo!

Join DePaul, Loyola, Northwestern, U of C and UIC students at our Winter Cycling Workshop where you'll learn tips and tricks for riding year round. Topics will include: dressing for all kinds of weather, prepping your bike for the elements as well as how to fix-a-flat, lube a chain and the basics of winter bike maintenance.

All of our attendees will receive an REI coupon for 15% off one full priced item of either cycling accessories or other apparel while coupons last.
