Jackson Boulevard Protected Bike Lane This 2 mile long protected bike lane will increase safety for all roadway users and provide bicyclists with exclusive space in the roadway by seperating bicycle and motor-vehicle traffic. Construction begins November 2011. Jackson Boulevard Safety Highlights
Update: The protected bike lane on Jackson between Ogden and Halsted will hopefully be installed in the Spring. Final approvals are still needed from all approving agencies. |

18th Street Protected Bike Lane This project, highlighted by a protected bike lane on 18th Street between Canal and Clark,will fill a gap in the current bikeways network and increase safety and comfort forall roadway users. Construction begins November 2011.
